I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but it isn’t something I’ve seen mentioned on my dash at all one way or the other so…?
I’d actually really like to see something more with the Shadow Proclamation.
Like, we got all sorts of throwaway lines during RTD’s era, and the Judoon, and then we finally got to kinda sorta meet the organization?? I don’t really think it was enough, though.
One thing I’d like — really, really like — is to have a fully rounded, rich, politically dark episode of Doctor Who based on the Shadow Proclamation.
Because honestly, since we don’t have the Celestial Intervention Agency to fall back on for this on the main show, it’d be a great substitute in this regard.

EITHER WAY. Yes. Star Trek: TNG and Doctor Who would be fantastic because out of all the Starfleet Captains [that I have seen/remember from childhood, at any rate — so I guess that just leaves Kirk and Picard? Heh.], the Doctor would get along with Picard the best. I think.
And generally the entire staff.
And it would be super-great.
[Though Big Finish has supplied two occasions where The Next Generation was parodied/referenced to a certain extent? So maybe that counts as a crossover. Hm.]
Opening night of the TC Film Fest was pretty sweet. Had a wonderful time with Nicole. Snarked my way through Star Wars V: Everyone Has a Really Bad Day Except for Darth Vader Maybe.

Let me start off with some disclaimers, alright? Because I excel at making people upset.
If you dislike Snape, chances are you won’t like this post because this was meant to sort of… counter-balance all the Snape-distaste that I’ve been seeing, because I’m really fond of him. Alternately, if you do like Snape, you probably also will not like this post because I agree with some of the Snape-distaste and I make a point of him being an ass.
So basically this will make everyone unhappy, unless you are neutral about the character as a whole. Go me.
Also, I probably won’t be able to give precise examples mainly because I haven’t read the books in a long time as I gave them to my little brother. As I think it should be, otherwise they would be stuck in storage somewhere and that is not the place for a book. I really cannot be arsed to go back downstate to mum’s to steal the books back from my baby bro in order write a thing on the internet. I need to write two 15-minute audioplays this month and I don’t know where to start.
I know both of them need to be Science Fiction, but beyond that, I don’t know.
I wish I knew where I put my notebook with all the sci-fi prompts.
Since I probably will not have my own apartment for TerribleCon for guesties to stay at, it may mean some re-arranging of cashmoney for those wanting to come to TC.
But this doesn’t necessarily mean that it is not happening, either! Y’all just may have to get a hotel if you’d like to stay up there, and I could come up that Friday/Saturday/Sunday weekend.
Would that be an acceptable option? I mean, there are still some super-nice hotels right on the bay, and everywhere else, though you may wanna look ahead because that bracket of time is just after the National Cherry Festival and the Traverse City Film Festival.
