I mean, you don’t need to, I’d never force it on anyone, but think about it. You’re gonna have all this time between now and the Chrimboli special, and then for Series Seven, after that — what better way than to get acquainted with classic characters, and pick out “ohhh yeah, I remember that person/occurrence mentioned!! cool!!!” Who knows? You may find out that Your Doctor may lie somewhere in the sixties, or the seventies, or the eighties, or in a delightfully silly movie from the nineties. :) ♥
